Cicabio SPF50+ demonstrates an immediate soothing effect during stinging test: -80%* stinging intensity after 30 sec. (1)
With a multi-centric clinical evaluation on skin lesions,
Cicabio SPF50+ demonstrates a significant decrease of redness (-79%**) with significant soothing effect after 14 days. (2)
Cicabio SPF50+ significantly increases skin hydration after a single application: +30,8% after 2h, +11,4% after 8h ***, compared to untreated zone. (3)
With an in vivo model of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation created by stripping and UV + visible light exposure *(4):
- The alterations of the stratum corneum were significantly reduced with Cicabio SPF50+ (assessed by TEWL(a) measure) during the first 6 days, demonstrating repairing effect
- The pigmentation was significantly lower up to the end of the study (28 days) with Cicabio SPF50+
- Cicabio SPF50+ maintained skin lightness, limited skin redness and skin yellowness.
TOLERANCE
Cicabio SPF50+ was very well tolerated by sensitive damaged skin, with very good ocular tolerance. (5)
Cicabio SPF50+ was very well tolerated on infants’ irritated skin. (6)
