KERATOLYTIC ACTIVITY
There is a significant difference in keratolytic effect between the area treated with ABCDerm Babysquam (+25%) and the untreated area.(1)
The originality of ABCDerm Babysquam resides in its two keratolytic active ingredients specifically suited to the gentle removal of cradle cap. It exerts a targeted, rapid and prolonged action thanks to the combination of:
- malic acid esters that, by targeting greasy areas, progressively release AHAs (Alpha-Hydroxy Acids), that dissociate the squamous corneocytes, while ensuring excellent tolerance.
- galactoarabinan, that potentiates the exfoliant action of AHAs by promoting scale exfoliation, without causing any irritation
MOISTURIZING ACTIVITY
ABCDerm Babysquam increases the skin hydratation levels by +68% in 2 hours and this action lasts for up to 8h (+35%)(2)
The moisturizing agents and emollients in ABCDerm Babysquam intensely moisturize the scales, thus
facilitating their removal, leaving the skin supple and soft.
- Shea butter, with its high triglyceride and free fatty acid content, possesses nourishing,
recovering and emollient properties. It allows the skin to regain its suppleness and comfort, thank to intense hydration.
- Glycerine is a hygroscopic substance that helps moisturize the skin, thanks to its humectant properties.
- Galactoarabinan forms a protective film on the skin, limiting transepidermal water loss.
