CLINICAL RESULTS

This patent contains a sugar ester that regulates skin flora. Thanks to their structure and surface-active properties, sucroesters can act in different ways to prevent the adhesion of S. aureus :

• A non-specific interface action, such as disruption of bacterial membrane especially at the attachment systems
• Specific biological action of interacting with or saturating one or several adhesins on S. aureus and/or the corneocytes of the stratum corneum, thereby preventing their adhesion.

TOLERANCE
