> CLINICAL RESULTS
After 28 days of daily evening use on the entire face, Sebium Night Peel demonstrated significant effectiveness in terms of (1)
- Reduction of porphyrins (-19%) *: porphyrins are secreted by the C. acnes bacterium. The quantity of porphyrins on the skin is related to the quantity of C. acnes, which plays a role in the formation of inflammatory lesions
- Reduction of brown spots (-10.75%) *
Sebium Night peel demonstrated a significant keratolytic effect (+20.6%)*** in comparison to untreated condition, 8 hours after product application. (2)
Glycolic acid, found in a high concentration in Sebium Night Peel, belongs to the AHA family. AHAs are organic acids naturally found in plants (notably fruit), capable of reducing the cohesion of corneocytes and accelerating epidermal renewal.
After 28 days of use, Sebium Night peel significantly decreased the number of retentional and inflammatory lesions respectively by 29.2%**** and 11.7%. **(3)
The Fluidactiv® innovation is a patented combination of active ingredients which biologically prevent squalene from oxidising: it improves sebum quality by preventing it from thickening and reduces the induction of keratinocyte proliferation. The purpose of this is to reduce comedogenesis. Fluidactiv® also has anti-inflammatory properties, which reduces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, interleukins IL-6 and IL-8, triggered by Propionibacterium acnes and involved in acne inflammation.
