> CLINICAL RESULTS
Atoderm Intensive Pain contains shea butter that has several effects:
- Nourishes and repairs the outer layers of the epidermis
- Protects and combats skin dehydration: thanks to the high content of unsaturated fatty acids, it can restore the skin's hydrolipidic barrier, to protect it from damage
Effectiveness of Atoderm Intensive Pain is also provided by the patented complex Skin Barrier Therapy TM.
This patent contains a sugar ester that regulates skin flora. Thanks to their structure and surface-active properties, sucroesters can act in different ways to prevent the adhesion of S. aureus :
- A non-specific interface action, such as disruption of bacterial membrane especially at the attachment systems
- Specific biological action of interacting with or saturating one or several adhesins on S. aureus and/or the corneocytes of the stratum corneum, thereby preventing their adhesion.
A clinical study was realized to evaluate the Skin Barrier TherapyTM anti-adhesion effect of staphylococcus aureus on the skin. The results showed that after applying the bacterial suspension, the average found was 276 bacteria per field. Lastly, in the presence of the polysorbate, the number of adherent bacteria decreases significantly by -57%* (1)
TOLERANCE
Atoderm Intensive Pain is very well tolerated on the ocular level and on the cutaneous level (no reaction of skin or eyes were observed) (2)

> PATIENTS FEEDBACKS
More than 90% of patients found that the product nourished and purified skin. Moreover, skin was soft and more comfortable. Finally, the hydration of the skin was estimated as very good.(2)
(1)In vivo evaluation of the effectiveness of a sucroester in preventing the adhesion of S. aureus to human corneocytes
(2)User test on Atoderm Intensive Pain – 10 volunteers (aged 18 – 80 years old) with dry skin on the face and/or the body. France
