GENERALITIES
Atoderm PP Baume enables a significant increase in the hydration rate of +90.8% * in 2 hours. This action persists after 8 hours (+60.4%) * and 24 hours (+21,3%) * (1)
After 10 days of application of Atoderm PP Baume on the forearms, we observe the development of saprophytic flora to the detriment of Staphylococcus aureus. (2)
ACTION ON ATOPIC DERMATITIS
After 28 days of daily application of Atoderm PP Baume in patients with AD, the results showed a significant decrease in:(3)
- The intensity of scaly skin (-87%)**
- Dry skin sensation (-72%)**
- Itchiness (-68%)**
- Roughness (-70%)**
- Tight skin sensation (-80%)**
- Body area affected by cutaneous dryness (-75%)**
In a study conducted in children with AD (<12-year-old), the use Atoderm PP Baume decreased significantly by 84%** the cutaneous dryness, 100% the feeling of tightness and by 83%** the feeling of insomnia after 6 months. (4)
Ecodéfensine® patent that combines two active ingredients:
- Boldo extract stimulates the defensins, antibacterial peptides produced in normal skin to defend itself against and inhibits the development of Staphylococcus aureus, one of the principal agents involved in AD (atopic dermatitis) and participating in its maintenance.
- FructoOligoSaccharides (FOS) favour the development and preserve the integrity of the saprophytic flora
The global efficacy of Atoderm PP Baume was excellent to good in 100% of cases, according to the dermatologists and 97.5% of cases, according to the parents. (4)
