> CLINICAL RESULTS
The AquageniumTM patented complex helps the skin to reconstitute its own resources and restore its original hydrating abilities. This complex contains active ingredients that: (1)
- improve the hydric flows by stimulating Aquaporin-3 synthesis thanks to Pyrus Malus fruit extract. An in vitro study was conducted on keratinocytes. After addition of Pyrus Malus fruit extract, an RT-PCR analysis showed an increase in ARMm synthesis coding for Aquaporin-3. (+55% synthesis vs control)
- restore the lipids that bond the corneocytes and thus improve the horny layer’s impermeability.
Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF30 has a good moisturizing power as it increases skin hydration rate by 35.8% in 2 hours after application, 30.4% in 4 hours, 26.9% in 6 hours and 20.4% at 8 hours. (2)
Hydrabio Perfecteur SFP30 contains salicylic acid. A study showed salicylic acid makes the skin brighter and reflects lighter (+0.88% vs. 0.03%) *. Therefore, the presence of salicylic acid has a positive effect on the skin. (3)
High solar protection (SPF=34,3) and sweat resistant product. (4)
TOLERANCE
Ocular and cutaneaous tolerance were evaluated as very good by the dermatologists. No clinical effects were observed. (5,6)
* p< 0.05, T-test, after 28 days.
