> CLINICAL RESULTS

GENERALITIES

• Reduction of redness
  The efficacy of allantoin (0.5%) was evaluated using a stripping test to induce redness. 5 days after, a decrease of redness was observed ⁽¹⁾
• Moisturizing property
  After a single application of Sebium Hydra, the results showed an increase in the rate of cutaneous hydration by 75% (T: 2h). This hydrating effect persists 8 hours after application with an increase in hydration by +45% ⁽²⁾

ACTION ON ACNE SKIN
After 84 days of twice-daily application of Sebium Hydra on the entire face, an evaluation was carried out to observe the evolution of acne-prone skin. The result illustrated a decrease in ⁽³⁾ :

Sébium Hydra's moisturising and soothing efficacy is deemed good to very good by dermatologists in 89% of cases, on D14 and in 97% of cases on D84. ⁽³⁾

The Fluidactiv® innovation is a patented combination of active ingredients which biologically prevent squalene from oxidizing: it improves sebum quality by preventing it from thickening and reduces the induction of keratinocyte proliferation. The purpose of this is to reduce comedogenesis.

Fluidactiv® also has anti-inflammatory properties, which reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, interleukins IL-6 and IL-8, triggered by Propionibacterium acnes and involved in acne inflammation.

TOLERANCE
Sebium Hydra is very well tolerated on the ocular level and on the cutaneous level, no reaction of skin or eye signs were observed. ⁽⁴⁾
