Oriol Yélamos, MD, PhD, is a European Board-Certified Dermatologist and Venereologist specialized in cutaneous oncology and non-invasive imaging. He has performed research fellowships in dermatopathology in Northwestern University Dermatology Department, Chicago, and in cutaneous oncology and non-invasive skin imaging in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. In 2019 he obtained his PhD in Medicine and Translational Research in Universitat de Barcelona with the maximum grade "Cum Laude" for his thesis entitled "Usefulness of in vivo reflectance confocal microscopy and automated videomosaics in the treatment and management of skin cancers". He has worked in the Melanoma Unit of Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (Spain), and currently Dr Yélamos is the Melanoma Tumor Board Director at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona (Spain) and Hospital Teknon-Quirónsalud, Barcelona (Spain) where he combines research, academic activities with patient care.
