Dr. Lidiya Todorova, MD, PhD is a Bulgarian dermatologist, with a strong academic and clinical background. She completed her education and training at the Medical University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She currently works at the Clinic of Dermatology and Venereology at University Hospital St. George and holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Medical University – Plovdiv. Dr. Todorova defended her PhD thesis on alopecias, with a focused interest in alopecia areata. Her academic work is complemented by participation in national and international dermatological forums. Her main fields of interest include hair and scalp disorders, pigmentary disorders, dermoscopy, and sebaceous gland conditions. Dr. Todorova is also engaged in exploring the psychological aspects of skin diseases, artificial intelligence in dermatology as well as the contemporary prerejuvenation practices.
